Enloe Hospital Art Panel
In 2008, Enloe Hospital called upon local artists to create art panels for the new parking structure as part of their planetree philosophy. The planetree philosophy put simply is one that suggests art helps the healing process. There are nine panels, each one is three feet wide by five feet tall and each done by a separate local artist. After being up on display for nearly a year, they are auctioned off. Half of the auction money goes to the artist and the other half goes towards the next wave of artists to complete panels. Here is the one I did, titled "Connected". I handmade all of the circle tiles and stick tiles and the background is smashed commercial tile.
